- Sadaqah/Lillah

These are just terms used for the word 'charity' and apply to most donations.
If you are ever unsure, select sadaqah as the donation type.
- Zakah

Zakah donations are alms given to the poor as part of the requirement in Islam to
give 2.5% of one's wealth each year to the needy. Zakah differs from sadaqah in
that there are only certain projects upon which zakah can be spent.
- Other

This encompasses other donation types such as 'kaffarah,' which is a form of expiation
for certain acts.
