The Date: Saturday 22nd January 2011
The Challenge: Walking or running for 5 miles through Hyde Park, London
The Cause: Gaza’s war affected children
This January, we’re going to brave the cold and frost to raise money for many of Gaza’s forgotten war-affected children. Are you up for the challenge?
Bring the family, grab some friends and wrap up warm for this day out in the heart of London. Over 250 people from across the country have taken part in the Gaza Winter Challenges and have raised more than £50,000 for the children Gaza. This year we’re asking you to continue to support Gaza’s war-affected children by taking part in our sponsored winter fun-run or walk.
If you’re feeling a little more adventurous then why not start earlier and join our team of runners? It’s strictly a fun-run but 5 miles in the cold weather will still be a challenge. Be sure to tell us when registering.
