Creative Web Designer
Location: London or Nottingham, UK
Details: Muslim Hands, a UK-based international relief organisation working in over 40 countries worldwide, is looking to expand its fundraising team. Headquartered in Nottingham, the charity is seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals to grow its presence and fundraising activities across the UK.
As Creative Web Designer you will be part of the Digital team working closely with others in the Fundraising department. You will be expected to:
• Create compelling and usable graphical design for the charity’s network of websites, microsites and mobile sites.
• Create standards compliant web pages that are pixel perfect across all contemporary browsers including mobile devices.
• Create engaging advertising creative for use in the charity’s digital marketing activities including display, email and social media.
The successful applicant will possess:
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent coding skills in CSS and HTML to comply with W3C standards and cross-browser issues.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript libraries such as jQuery (advantageous).
• Pixel perfect attention to detail.
• Experience of producing designs that fit organisational guidelines of CMS systems (highly desirable).
• A track record of creative and varied design output.
• A great portfolio of previous web design work.
This is an exciting opportunity working for one of the UK's leading Muslim charities. Digital marketing and web are critical to the growth of Muslim Hands both in raising awareness of our work and generating online donations in excess of £3 million per year. Your role will be central in expanding this area and helping further the reach of Muslim Hands to assist even more people in need worldwide.
