Kashmir

Kashmir is a territory that straddles the northern regions of India and Pakistan. The territory is highly disputed with parts under Pakistani control and parts under Indian control. There are frequent skirmishes across the de-facto border known as the Line of Control (LOC).

Kashmir occupies an area of over 200,000 sq. km and is home to more than 12 million people.
