A land of outstanding beauty and tranquillity, Kashmir was commonly known as "Heaven on Earth." But since the civil unrest started in Kashmir in 1990, this troubled part of the world has witnessed countless atrocities and horrors. With thousands dead and many more missing, the suffering in Kashmir has no foreseeable end.
Muslim Hands has been working in Kashmir (on both sides of the border) for the past ten years. From the setting up of blood-banks in Kapwara, Baramullah and Rajory in 1994 to the running of medical clinics along the volatile border areas (LOC), numerous other development projects have been started in Kashmir over the past few years.
Thanks to your generousity and supports, Muslim Hands is one of the very few international aid organisations operating continuously in Kashmir.
- Emergency Relief
