Muslim Hands Needs You

As the bitter colds set in, are you thinking of doing something for charity this winter? Do some fundraising perhaps? Well how about going one step further and taking your efforts to the ground?

In January 2011, Muslim Hands is giving volunteers the opportunity to join our teams in the field.
We want you to come and witness the relief work in Pakistan, get involved in the post-flood rebuilding, and see first-hand the impact your donations are making.

Your role as a volunteer

To support our recovery efforts will involve meeting survivors; getting your hands dirty as we lay some bricks together; and helping us carry out need assessments in various locations.

But most importantly, your visit is an opportunity to raise awareness about the situation in disaster zones.

Almost five months after the late July Floods, millions in Pakistan now face winter without homes. We want you to observe, document and bring back your stories. Help us tell people what it’s still like out there and encourage others to keep the momentum alive- months after the media spotlight has dimmed.

We ask volunteers to raise a minimum of £3000 in sponsorship.

If you want to take part, act quickly, as we have a strict quota of 10 participants and much to do in the way of preparation. Download the Information pack on the right and register your interest here
