Appeal: Burma (Myanmar) Cyclone
Last Friday, the devastating Cyclone Nargis struck Burma (Myanmar) killing 22,000 with a further 40,000 people reported missing. With the death toll rising rapidly, urgent action is needed to relieve the catastrophe. Many survivors have been left homeless and wandering in search of food, clean drinking water and shelter.
The millions displaced require urgent food, water, sanitation and shelter. Even the largest cities have no electricity and prices of food, fuel and construction materials have skyrocketed.
Muslim Hands is launching an urgent appeal for funds and is dispatching aid teams to the region -- your donations will provide vital support as hundreds of thousands of survivors lack the most basic, yet life saving resources. Please donate generously.
